CGC Ready-Mixed Joint Compounds are high-quality products designed for taping, filling and finishing joints, corner beading and gypsum board surfaces. Formulated with a vinyl base, these products are premixed to a smooth, creamy consistency and are ready to use. Easy to apply, they are available in formulations suitable for both hand and machine applications. Please protect wet joints and products from freezing. • Ideal for embedding CGC Sheetrock® Paper Joint Tape, applying drywall filler and finish coats, covering fasteners and corner trim.
• Lighter, less shrinkage (reduces layers on the corner bead) and easier to apply and sand than traditional compounds.
• Suitable for manual application of simple textures.
• Usable for both manual and mechanical applications.
• Easy to apply and sand, with minimal shrinkage.
• A 17L bucket covers approximately 42m² of drywall.
• Store at room temperature in a dry place, protected from frost, extreme heat and direct sunlight. Do not use if product is discolored or has an unpleasant odor.
• Remix contents before use. For bonding and finishing joints, diluting with water may improve application. Add clean water in 250 ml (1 cup) increments, remix and test until desired consistency is achieved. Over-dilution may result in abnormal shrinkage, poor adhesion and other adverse effects. Do not mix with other materials.
