CGC Sheetrock Firecode X Ultra-Lightweight Panel is manufactured using an innovative composite design that makes it the industry’s first and lightest Type X gypsum board. These panels are formulated to achieve all the strength and performance characteristics of standard 5/8-inch gypsum board, with a significantly reduced weight. They are ideal for finishing interior walls and ceilings that require greater fire resistance than standard gypsum board. They are easy to cut and install quickly, making them suitable for painting or decorating.
