A gypsum board for superior moisture and mold resistance in a variety of interior construction applications. SHEETROCK Mold Tough gypsum boards are easy to lift and install. They are ideal for moisture-prone areas such as bathrooms, basements and garages. Their non-combustible, moisture and mold resistant core is wrapped in 100% recycled, moisture and mold resistant face and backing papers. This fire-rated gypsum board provides additional fire resistance over standard boards. They feature long, tapered edges for easy finishing.
- Used as an interior tile substrate in dry locations or areas with limited water exposure. May be used as a water-resistant backer board for ceramic tile in residential bathtub and shower enclosures as permitted by the National Building Code of Canada (9.29.10.4).
