CGC Durock® Brand Cement Board with EdgeGuard® provides exclusive edge performance, preventing warping and spalling. This mold-resistant backer board is the ideal choice for tile and flooring in bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms in new construction or renovation projects. The board is easily applied to wood or steel framing, spaced 16 inches on center, with corrosion-resistant lumber, steel screws or hot-dipped galvanized roofing nails. After joint treatment, wall or floor tile is applied using latex-fortified mortar or a Type I organic adhesive.
