DensShield 5/8" X 4' X 8'

DensShield® Tile Backer is designed as a substrate for walls, ceilings, floors and countertops. Ideal for high moisture areas, it incorporates a waterproof membrane that prevents moisture from penetrating the surface. This unique coating protects the tile installation as well as the interior wall space from water infiltration. Unlike traditional paper-backed backers, DensShield uses a fiberglass mat, providing increased resistance to mold and mildew (tested in accordance with ASTM D 3273). In addition, DensShield is the only tile backer certified as GREENGUARD Antimicrobial by the independent GREENGUARD Environmental Institute.
